For instance, those who are not baptized could expect a lengthier time of formation compared to a baptized non-Catholic, and a baptized non-Catholic who is already well-educated might take less time than a non-Catholic who knows very little about the Catholic faith. Scheduling a conversation with the priest is the best way to begin.

Catholic adults who never received the sacraments of initiation as a child are also encouraged to reach out to the parish office to learn how to "catch up" on their sacraments.
